AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Took money off me but I never received carpet! Stuart took £300 off me in advance for a carpet saying he was a family man and could be trusted. I was going on holiday for the week so gave him the key to the vacant & empty property explaining to him that the house was going on the market 2 days after the agreed fitting date. He did not show or contact me, the house was viewed without any carpet and I lost 10 potential buyers. He was contacted on 2 more occasions, agreed 2 more dates with him but again these dates passed with no fitting and no contact from Stuart. I phoned him yet again to demand my £300 back on numbers found online for other company names that he was doing business through (Absolute Flooring , Floor Wise, dodgy) as he was ignoring my calls. When I managed to track him down he said he was having money problems but promised to return my money in instalments direct to my account, the first instalment being in 4 days. Again nothing from this rogue. He messed up the sale of my property and stole £300 off me. I’m lucky it wasn’t more as he was also angling for the fitting costs in advance but I’d arranged for a neighbour to pay this. 16-01-14
