Shameful experience. I felt so sorry for the young girl who stayed with me. She had parted with over £2000 to ILS to spend a week in a charity shop !!
This organisation is not accredited so there is no body to complain to. The tuition was in a tiny room in their home and work experience was working in a charity shop in Bromley 5 afternoon a week. They claim to pay the family £695 per week they give the family £119 pw to include 3 meals the rest is their profit. I hosted once never again and very concerned they offer same service to English students going abroad. It's sad as there are excellent language schools around. ILS is certainly not one of them.
