FLYNN MOTORS Edinburgh - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I have been dealing with Danny and Tom at Flynn for almost a month, having paid for a car, and never having received it. We called off the deal yesterday, after weeks of spiel and lies from both these sellers.
Danny and Tom were:
- evasive (telling us the car needed a 'wee valve' when in actual fact a full new engine was needed)
- patronising (telling us that the reason they didn't tell us what was wrong was because we were 'not mechanically minded')
- incapable of genuine human interaction (dismissing/ignoring our concerns and repeating their rehearsed made-up story about what was happening)
Finally, after many calls and emails, we were able to prove that they'd been lying. Even in the face of this proof, they continued to deny any responsibility.
All of the above made them extremely difficult to trust and to deal with.
If you value honesty, integrity and respect, don't go to Flynn.

I normally buy cars from the main dealers so I was a little worried about using s smaller independent dealer. The prices were less than the main dealer so I took a chance. The car was perfectly presented when I got it and I got a bottle of wine to thank me for the purchase. Unfortunately it had a fault that I discovered when I got it home. I was worried that it was potentially very expensive to fix and that a smaller dealership would be awkward about it if it proved costly to repair. Danny and I discussed it and he took it away, fixed the fault as well as sent it to Ford for a full diagnosis. All seems good now. Danny says to come back if there is anything else or if the fault returns. They really tried to help and gave me my old trade in back until the repair was sorted. The staff are really friendly and they do try to help. if you are reasonable with them then they will do all they can to sort things out for you. RECOMMEND .

We got a car from Flynn Motor 6 weeks ago, nothing bad to say about the place, delivered on everything that was promised and will receive free mot and service for life! definitely worth looking here before approaching main dealers. Paul

Bought a car here a couple of months back, the car is a great runner and good value for money. I also got an RAC warranty through this dealer. Because they also have their own service centre I was able to collect the car the next day. Friendly place with a good feel about it. Most definitely recommended.
