Absolutely awful. Most stressful experience of my life. Went into the shop in January - the shop is dirty and untidy, my wedding is in june so to be honest we went in as we were running out of time. The dressmaker assured us she could get the dresses done in time ( two bridesmaids dresses) 5 dress fittings later and one dress had been started and was still a bit of fabric. We got a bit cross which seemed to spur her on to do some more work on the dress. She started on the lace, which was completely the wrong colour as she said she couldn't find the right colour. I walked to tatters and found it immediately and took it back. Next fitting we realised she had made the dress out of the wrong fabric in the wrong shape. It looked like a slip to go under a dress, not am actual dress! She then sewed more fabric over the top and added the lace. There was no shape and it looked like a cheap home made dress very poorly done. She was unable to find any elastic for the buttons so put a huge zip up the back of the lace. This obviously looked awful. She took it out after me sourcing the elastic. We are now three weeks before the wedding and we have one half done poorly made dress which I would be embarrassed to let my bridesmaid walk down the aisle in so we have abandoned the order. We have bought dresses from eBay for forty quid as a last minute which are much better quality. Devastated not to have the dresses I wanted. She was charging £250 a dress!! She would never have got these done in time. Shapeless and amateur. I have learnt, always judge a book by its cover. If the shop looks cheap and dirty... It probably ia
