SCAM ALERT!

I bought breaking pads and discs through EuroCarParts where DPS Motors Ltd has an account under Fit It For Me service.

DPS Motors initially quoted fitting service of above parts to my car for £50.40, later DPS Motors ACCEPTED the booking under above quote.

When I came in to pickup my car I was informed that they need to charge me more, because they needed to use diagnostic tool to disable electronic handbrake.
Nobody made an attempt to contact me before they started the job!
Regardless whether they needed to use this tool or not, they accepted this job for £50.40!!

I contacted EuroCarParts about the issue and their response was:
"You were quoted £50.40 inc VAT for the fitting which should have been honored by the garage unless additional parts were needed or further repairs needed. The garage accepted the booking at this cost and should not have charged extra."

I feel I've been scammed and DPS Motors Ltd is not trustworthy business!! 27-01-21
