Avoid this shop at all cost! i actually didn't want to give any stars but i had to so i could write this review. I have purchased an inner tube from this shop this morning costing £6 took it home and on fitting the tube pumping slight air in it whilst it was in the tire it formed an hernia and bang! exploded i took it straight back for a refund as i really didn't want the same brand as was worried might do do same or maybe a faulty patch of tires or something,he said he would exchange but not give refund,he said you shouldn't put air in it and it shouldn't explode like this?! i told him i have changed many tires and wheels in my life and i never come across anything like this,and very arrogantly he said well i changed many more then you as i'm in the business,not im sorry about this mate here is your money back and i will send this back to manufacturer!!!??on top of that i bought a valve cap for 50 p then i noticed when i got home it was a used one with dirt inside,when i asked him is this how you treat you customers?it is so wrong! how do you sustain you business like this and he says 'actually we doing really well thank you!!!! this not about the money honestly!as i even told him keep the money and walked out as i could no longer stand his utter arrogance, so he now has my money,as far as i can see this guy is milking commuters and bikers since Halfords has left the town, smiling at your face till hes got your money until you have problem!then you are faced with this arrogant and ignorant owner of this shop,i personally will never ever go to this shop but i'm sure that he couldn't care less,but i will make sure my own 3 sons and all friends and family will be informed about his unbelievably shite customer service and will advertise this where ever i can,i normally use the guy down the road a bike shop called Ballyhoo on commercial square but i was just driving past so i thought i pop in to Cycle Centre, i highly recommend BALLYHOO bike shop he is pleasant nice cool guy who wouldn't screw you over. im very interested to see with what kind of bullshite he is going to reply to this review as im sure he will deny all of it but this will not surprise me,all i can say is i swear all of the above is true!cross my heart!
