I have experienced very sound advice in the past from the Pharmacist.Unfortunately not my experience toda,y 11 June 2020 ,with an Assistant.
I rang to ask for an electronic prescription as usual,as I had discovered I was running short of a beta blocker( propanalol) As a nurse, I know these cannot be suddenly stopped.I realised I only had a supply for a few days.I apologised for the error .The Assistant reprimanded me,told me it would take at least a week to prepare my prescription.I asked what I should do for an emergency supply and was told sharply I should have realised that all ordering takes a week.I found her attitude uncaring and unprofessional.
I have arranged for my prescription to be transferred elsewhere.It will be available tomorrow.
