I purchased a vehicle in May. The check engine light came on before I got home. They pushed me off to the warranty company. The initial problem was the fuel injectors all need to be replaced. The warranty is very limited though and will only pay 1000L per repair and wont fix it unless it fails. Well the second injectors failure caused the engine block to crack. The repair costs more than the car is worth. So now I'm working with citizens advice to get them to take this thing back. Brookside has not responded and I assume at this point it will go to court. The car is not fit for purpose.
A few other thoughts. When I test drove this car it didn't have any gas. So we didn't take it for a proper test drive. We assumed the warranty would cover. Bad assumption. This makes it apparent though that they new this was a problem.
The car had run flat tires. After a week we figured out the two back tires were flat. Someone had readjusted the car so it would not report them as flat.
Supposedly they did a service before we picked the car up. The oil warning came on during the first week. Not what you would expect after a fool service.
Hopefully I have a happy update that they did the right thing and contacted me and we worked it out. But currently they appear to be a very shady company.

dont touch these scamming rude bunch of tip off merchants. sell u unroad worthy cars and get swear at you when it needs to be fixed.they use fake mots for scrap cars.the guy is the most unpolite rudess person i have ever came across. please read all reviews on the web. they also use the name brookside motors which say a lot about a company that has to change their name!!! please beware!!!!!.
