If there was ever an option for a no star rating, this firm surely deserves a 0 rating. I called a switch board of solicitor and was allocated to Allerton Kaye Solicitors on the pretext that they were the best to handle my case even though they were in Bradford and I in London.

Right before discussing anything, I was told I need to pay £400 pounds for consultation. The guys insisted I first make the payment which I obliged. We agreed that the £1,200 would be the full fee for representation (writing a letter to the HO to explain my circumstances and then if the permit is still refused, they would work on the appeal case). He then seemed helpful at first, convincing me that they will be on top of this and that everything will be done remotely since I was in London.

They promised to always call and email promptly and that this has never been a problem. I sent in my documents on the first day and made the first installment. They were keen on the money and said I had to make the second and last installment within the next 5 days. From then on wards, communication was slow.

My permit was denied. When I called them to say I would like them to proceed with the appeal, that is when things turned for the worst. They demanded another £1200 for representing me and denied the fact that they had verbally agreed to represent me all the way. So this meant the initial £1200 I paid was just for them to write a single letter to the HO

I would advise anyone to never use this firm as they are cheats, untrustworthy and unreliable. I am not even sure they exist. This could have been a hoax. I was very luck to find another firm in London who took on my appeal and won it. It was the complete polar opposite.

I would advise anyone that is in need of a solicitors especially in matters concerning immigration to NEVER contact Allerton Kaye Solicitors. They are a crop of useless professionals who are in business to steal and make away with peoples hard earned money. NEVER USE THESE HOPELESS FOOLS, THEY ARE CROOKS and they should be reported to the Legal Ombudsman.

Please, do NOT get these solicitors.
After they take your money, they won't give you any updates and you will lose your case.
Allerton-Kaye are a bunch of sly bastards. Don't take the risk.

very poor service, no communication if you are following up the case, justaid the full amount and haven't had an update after. been calling and emailing them but they don't reply, not helpful to deal with the case.i wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
