Sadly the second time we have had to use Walker & Morrell, we could not find a single thing we weren’t happy with. From the beginning Joe has been amazing, he has taken a great deal of care to ensure we were happy with the arrangements, and everything was done as we wanted. He absolutely is a credit to the company.
The whole experience has been made so much easier for us with the help and friendship shown at one of the lowest moments of your life. We are sure that our mother would have been so happy that we were helped so much by everyone involved. Nothing seemed to be a problem, we are so grateful for the support and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, no hard sell, true professionalism and sincerity which you cannot put a price on. Thank you all.

A friend recommended Walker and Morrell and I would also recommend them. I cannot fault the service we were given. Everything was explained to us in a sympathetic and clear way, nothing was rushed and we were able to ask questions where necessary.
At a time like this it's important to feel at ease and to be comfortable with everything that goes on. Approaching Durham Crematorium the undertaker walked the last part of the journey, I found this very moving.
If you have the choice between Durham and Sunderland, choose Durham. The building itself is beautiful and so is the setting, the large windows look out over the gardens, I can't fault a thing. It made a sad day into a memorable one.
