I have been registered for nine months, not once in that time have I been able to get an appointment with given Doctor. No appointments available on line, go the the surgery by taxi, to book an appointment, even prepared to wait a couple of weeks, but reception tells me they are not able to book an appointment. Told the drop in surgery is for new complaints only, only way to get an appointment is t telephone from 8-30am.Tried this, rang constantly for three hours before I got through, then had to wait more than 10 minutes to speak to someone. This is very expensive each call when answered is charged for, then the long wait when we eventually get through, pensioners on a small fixed income find it a real struggle. I have NEVER found such difficulty in making an appointment, the whole system on appointments needs an urgent overhaul, as I think 99% of patients agree. 21-03-17
