Kitchen units as supplied ok. Design was ok. Installer sent was a nightmare - walked off the job (having had most of the money and leaving the job unfinished) and became unreachable - DJ Designs were very unhelpful, the contract is with the installer they said despite sending him and agreeing his price with us. Units were from County Kitchens in Dunstable (where we got parts to finish in the end). I would not recommend; felt very let down in the end.

Ordered our kitchen for delivery on 20th December 2014. It arrived on time but with quite a few pieces missing. My husband installed this kitchen himself so as we progressed through the project we found items missing and damages which to be fair D J Designs replaced (eventually). Julie was amazing to begin with but as we got through the project and more issues arose we were to direct to David at the workshop where no communication had been made between the two of them. Long and short was that we finally received all the parts of our kitchen at the beginning of May 2015! 5 months later. We also bought a soft close kitchen but were supplied with a hard close bin. I have spoken to Julie with the response of this "the bin only comes in hard close". She then told me to ring the manufacturer!! Which I did to be told they do soft close. I have since emailed, left messages and gone into the shop to get the bin changed but I have been ignored. This kitchen was in excess of £6,000 without appliances so not exactly B&Q prices. I am so disappointed and upset by the end of our business with D J Designs I feel that other people should benefit from my experience. David was also extremely rude to my Mother-in-Law and suggested that we were ripping him off!. Think carefully before buying from this company. The most upsetting part of all this was that we went local as we are keen to keep local businesses going but I wonder if we should have gone to Howdens where the customer service would have been better.
