What a complete waste of money. I thought that I was paying £200.00 per hour for a professional solicitor. What I got was someone who lied about the law. Lied about the distribution of the estate. Deliberately wasted thousands of pounds from the estate while delaying the process so that they could increase their own fee. Sent one pointless letter after another, criticising the size of the estate after they had lost £20,000.00 from the value of it, congratulating themselves on the number of letters they had sent or contradicting themselves. Took over a month to respond to correspondence. Managed to take over two years to settle a matter that should have taken six months. Their response to any complaints about their appalling service was to ignore them or send an obnoxious letter saying that they would not deal with them. They then refused to accept any responsibility for the losses that they had incurred.
