Genuinely the worst salon experience I have ever had. I got a Groupon for four treatments for my birthday and traveled from Leeds. The list of ridiculous things that happened is too long to put here but here are just a few: making the appointment originally was frustrating and time consuming; I arrived and was accused of being late but she had read the diary wrong; the woman on the desk had hair dye and a gown on...and continued to ware this dye and gown throughout giving me my treatment!; the website states that you will have a relaxing experience but (some of) the staff were shouting over the room to each other and swore at each other in front of me; it was actually quite a stressful experience not a relaxing one; several of the shellac varnished nails had come off the next day (this is guaranteed to last 2 weeks)!; The staff were complaining and being rude about another customer in front of me; It was so unpleasant I cancelled my full body massage due the next week as I couldn't stand to go back. I have since spoken to another customer that has spoken of similar experiences and cancelled his treatments of tattoo removal half was through. As a courtesy I wanted to tell the manager as if it was my business I would definitely want to know if my customers were getting this kind of treatment. It took a lot of phone calls to finally speak to her and her attitude was thoroughly unpleasant, she would not listen to my complaint, was very rude and gave unsatisfactory reasons for the few points she did listen to. She refused to apologise or give any refund and would not even let me finish my complaint. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever experienced. I will say that the hairdresser was very pleasant, professional and skilled and Groupon were amazing at listening to my complaint and refunding the voucher.
