Run, run, run from this sorry excuse for a fitness facility. I've been a member of many gyms, some better than others, but never anything as so completely awful as this place. I wish someone had written a review before I joined, as I could have avoided so much frustration...This is just a few of the issues:

1. Classes are completely booked. After sold a membership BASED on the fact that there would be Pilates, yoga and strength classes available to me as this is the ONLY reason I wanted a membership, I went online and every single class I wanted was fully booked (in fact, ALL were full except for water aerobics or 20 minute floor classes). This remained the same the following day. When inquired, they said that "classes are a bonus, not a right". Tried wait list and was unsuccessful. Again, they sold me my membership based on the fact that there would be class availability on an evening walk-in basis. They are clearly oversold and not budging to add classes. First untruth of many.

2. Machines are 3rd rate. No connection for iPod/MP3 to hear the TVs let alone a fan. Rickety and awful.

3. Pool. Tiny and uninviting. Temperature is not refreshing. Hot tub is tepid and not hot in the slightest. When we visited to inquire weekend there were at least 10 kids splashing around. I'm not, but if I were a swimmer, I would NOT go here.

4. Cleanliness - not so much. The place is dirty. Locker rooms (ladies) are not clean and if you check out the area upstairs you will find chairs with dirt/grease?? stains on them.

5. Membership price. We were told to quickly get a membership locked in before the new year (even though we would be on vacation for 2 weeks) because the price would go UP. Even told us to forego the free 3 day pass and freeze our membership to lock in this SPECIAL rate!. Yet prices stayed the same and new members in the new year received a free month. Don't believe their lies. They would sell a ketchup popsicle to a kid in white gloves.

6. Staff - awful. Sold a pack of lies, as noted above, then when tried to discuss with at least 4 people was met with either indifference, boredom, more promises that wouldn't be met and the most abominable and rude person I've ever encountered, Jonathan, who suggested I wake up at 6:00am to sign up for the classes 8 days out. The lazy trainers hang around the stretching area chatting and making it uninviting.

7. Pothole!! There is an enormous crater-sized pothole full of dirty rainwater on the drive in that is unavoidable. It bottoms out our car.

If fitness and getting what you pay for is important to you then RUN RUN RUN for your health and well being AWAY from this place. 18-03-14
