In total agreement with the other reviews. Their fees are over the top and their services are poor quality. The communication isn't much to shout about either.

BLR also use in house maintenance companies to perform services provided, therefore any quotes given are set by BLR in the first place.

There's never any intention to compromise with residents and their outlook is from a money making perspective - they're not interested in providing a good service at all!

Do not touch any flat that this company manages. They are managing my block of flats and they never seem to do any maintenance. I reported a roof leak in October 2014. The roof was only fixed in December this year and I am still waiting for them to paint my ceiling. Our intercom has been broken for nearly two months with no sign of them fixing it. The drains over overflowing in the garden. They rarely reply to emails and are do not return phone calls.

Appalling. BLR more than doubled the service management fee as soon as they took over responsibility for our building. At the same time standards of cleaning and maintenance dropped noticeably. They are poor communicators and do not engage actively with leaseholders or tenants regarding maintenance budgets. Cost rise exponentially, and maintenance budgets are routinely, massively overspent without any real explanation and with no obvious improvement in condition of the property they supposedly 'manage'. Complaints are rarely acted upon. In future I will desperately avoid investing in any property which is managed by this company, and would certainly never appoint them to run anything more than a bath.
