Hi i am writing to say a very big THANK YOU to ALTON CARS ,I bought my car in for repair yt19gfp due to an unfortunate incident which was not my fault , but I must say the whole process went very well everyone I met at reception handing over my car was very nice and professional it was the same when I went back to collect my car , the repairs were carried out to a high standard and the car seemed to drive better I am very pleased . I would highly recommend ALTON CARS if you need work /repairs doing on your car

What an absolute rip off, took my car in for some minor damage for a sprained door quoted £2600 Richard arrived at that price after a 20 second inspection of the car. I wanted to pay out of my own pocket the quote given was quite clearly a quote for an insurance company included absolutely everything that wasn't required new moulding, badge emblems etc none of which was required, Over £1000 for paint and labour for the painting alone (joke) called to question it Richard didn't like to hear they're ripping people off and put the phone down. There is no wonder our insurance quotes go up year on year when you have these cowboys ripping insurance companies off for work that isn't required. Suffice to say I took it to a local independent body shop with amazing reviews showed them the quote and was told Alton Cars quote is £1900 over priced. Gives good reason to support independent retailers who are not in the business of having peoples pants down.

My car went to be fixed due a small shunt which was simply a new bumper and my bootlid been realigned.

New bumper was fitted but colour shades out to the rest of my car, paintwork had dirt trapped under it and its white so you can see it, bootlid not fixed and they have scratched my roof.

VERY UNHAPPY and the body shop manager simply has no care
