I had a terrible experience with Kingfisher Dry Cleaners and won't be using their services again.
I took a DJ, bow-tie & cummerbund in on the 27/12/18. I went to collect 5 days later but they'd lost my items and told me they’d call me with updates. They didn’t call me and since then I have been into the shop 8 times over a period of 42 days to resolve this issue.
After 3 weeks they found my suit but no the bow-tie and still charged me full price. On my 6th visit I spoke with the manager was told I'd be reimbursed for a new bow-tie so I ordered a new bow tie and then 3 days ago I received a call to say they’d found my bow tie. I collected it today but I'm no longer able to return the bow tie I bought and haven't been offered any compensation, therefore I’m £25 out of pocket.
I appreciate that staff were trying to be helpful but the communication, and therefore the service, were incredibly poor. It has been a massive inconvenience and I would recommend going elsewhere
