Previously Donald & Aitchison and now run as a Boots franchise. I have used this branch for many years, but have decided I cannot continue my loyalty. There appears to have been no infrastructure investment since it became a Boots. The consulting rooms are shabby and very run down. The proprietor is very pleasant and helpful, but other staff are very sloppy that has resulted in a lack of confidence. Also, the last few times my wife and I have ordered new spectacles, there have consistently been problems - including wrong prescriptions.
