I requested 20 table flowers to be made for a charity ball I was holding. We agreed a price and I even popped in a few days before collection to check everything was going well. On the morning of collection I was surprised to find the flowers were not the same as requested at all. I understand that certain flowers are in season and may be substituted, however when I went to discuss this with the owner who I had made the original order with he snatched the vase out of my hand and stated if they are not good enough don’t take them and get out. He possibly knew that they were nothing like the ones requested I’m not sure.

I returned with another one of the charity coordinator, who was with me on the day we made the initial contract. She stated to the owner that he had not for filled his end of the contract, but that we were on a tight deadline now. At this point a very nice female florist came in and asked the owner to calm down, she apologised and stated that for our budget she could not get the look we had requested. She was very helpful and began trimming the flowers to fit properly into our vases. The flowers were eventually quiet acceptable, its just a shame we had to experience such bad manners from the manager before we managed to discuss our concerns.
