Avoid!! ... Bought a reconditioned gearbox which came with a 12 month warranty ... when fitted problems with gear selection and speedo reported by garage during testing which were reported back to TEC ... getting TEC to respond was almost impossible and 3 months later the gearbox failed. After a further 4 weeks of poor customer service TEC came up with an "offer" - send both gearboxes back (garage & transport costs to be paid by myself) ... they would then recondition my old gearbox ... then transport back and fit (again all at my cost!)

Very poor post sales communication ... very poor customer service ... poor quality product supplied

TERRIBLE FROM THE START, DO NOT USE ! PAY THE EXTRA £100 ELSEWHERE !!! My vehicle was collected and they severely damaged the bumper while trying to pull it on the recovery vehicle. The work was completed about 5 days after they said they could complete it. I'm still asking them to send me an invoice 5 days after they completed it. THEY REFUSED TO COVER THE COST OF MY DAMAGED BUMPER AND WAS AGGRESSIVE ON THE PHONE TO ME TELLING ME I WAS IN THE WRONG. If you want to use this company, then expect a shocking rude delayed service. The engine itself was suppose to be a reconditioned clean engine. It was in a dirty condition on the outside, i had to spend 40 minuted cleaning it. I really mean it when I say they are poor, but you can always find out yourself.
