Longleat fishery has fallen below the bar of expectation for anglers:

I fished the middle lake at Longleat which is a staggering two and a half feet deep all the way around which mean't that I got bites off Swans and hooked them due to the Swans being able to reach the bottom of the lake as Swans feed on my bait.

I understand that there are stipulations with Swans and I am one for seeing wildlife hence why we fish at Longleat. But it has to be said what poor fishery management skills as bailiffs could of feed the Swans in the bottom lake where they would cause little disturbance to anglers. Plus I got faced with a take it or leave it situation off the bailiff. Especially as I phoned up in advance to clarify if there were any potential problems, in my eyes this is unacceptable.

Well I will not be going back for a long time.
