Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience using "Rainbow Roofing" (run by Billy Kent, also of Rainbow Flowers):

The felt roof of our sunroom was leaking and needed to be replaced. It began well, with a competitive quote and good communication. During the job they even sent photographs of the progress by text message (as we were away).

However 3 things went terribly wrong:

1. It went £480+VAT over the initial quotation as the job was larger than expected. Which is fine, except:
2. The night after the new roof was installed it rained and more water poured through the ceiling than had ever done before. To their credit they immediately fixed it the following day, however:
3. A large pile of rubbish was left in the back of garden for two and a half weeks, which they promised four times to remove but never did. In the end they refused to move it and we had to clear it ourselves. This is unacceptable, especially as the job cost £1,590.00 and on the quotation included "Leave site clean and tidy."

Patched up my leaking roof but missed a spot then wouldn't come back to look at this or finish off. Very agreeable by phone and seemed happy to return, but after 3 times booking a time for them to come and 3 times no-showing and not answering their phone, its obvious they aren't interested. This despite offering a 10 year guarantee and 24 hour emergency call out service. There's no company address or working landline available either and they aren't a member of any trade body. AVOID.
