Very poor quality work and unprofessional approach.

We had a kitchen fitted in 2013 by MCM Installations. A price was agreed and as is customary the money to be paid at the end of the job. Throughout the job 1 apprentice was left to do most of the work whilst MIke was off on other jobs including one at his own home, we were left high and dry on many occasions when they didn't turn up. The job ended up lasting 5 weeks and was of poor quality including

1. wonky tiling
2. Damage to a coping stone whilst fitting a new back door
3. A worktop not being measured correctly and therefore having a "join" which looked rubbish.
4. Low quality hob which hardly works at all.
5. A query about the amount of money given for the kitchen cabinets was never resolved
6. I was never given a receipt or invoice for the work.

Throughout the job I was asked for money. When I tried to refuse or say that wasn't the agreement I was emotionally blackmailed by Mike saying he wouldn't be able to pay his worker. This went on till the end of the job and I'm still kicking myself for doing that, it meant we had no lee-way when things were wrong.

I would strongly urge you to avoid this company at all costs.
