We gave Paul the job to do a dormer extension/ new roof and build a porch along with electrical work. He started off ok but then the excuses started he took 6 months longer than planned. He ended up disappearing owing us £5000 for materials and work, was left with a unfinished porch/roof which caused a massive leak in the roof and ruined the inside a lot of the work he did do had to be redone at extra costs the building inspector wouldn't sign it off until all faults had been repaired. The electrical work he did I got an independent electrician to check it out he wouldn't pass it for a cert until his work had been repaired and done to the correct standard. Don't waste your time and money on this guy he is a complete cowboy STAY WELL CLEAR! His attitude is shocking he’s a very jealous little man!

Today, Paul Hilton claimed he’s filing bankruptcy (see text below).

It’s understandable, as he’s proven to be an incompetent, unreliable and unethical “builder and electrician”; he’s completely incapable of managing staff, or contractors, and apparently budgets.

Sadly, my wife and I made the mistake of hiring Paul Hilton, for a large, 5BR, home renovation, in April 2018. Two and a half months after the agreed completion date of August 24th, Paul Hilton walked off the job, owing us money and leaving the house a complete disaster.
