Someone damaged the bumper in a Car Park by reversing into it taking the paint away down to the plastic, so I took it to Mike Godfrey at Crash Repair Centre Bridgend . He gave me a good quote and did his magic putting it back to its original state again with the Iridescent Ford Avalon colour paint. This is the second car in my family to have work completed here as my daughters Suzuki Swift was damaged in the winter 2013. I found them Friendly , Fair , Polite and a 5 * service both times. Well what can i say…good service till they get your money off you! Took my car down to have some work done to the passenger side and made nothing but a mess of it! It looked better before it went in! Back door was full of orange peel, front door was full of mark, scratches and blotches from poor work and the front wing was all scratched from the grit paper and had very litre lacquer. After taking the car down many times to try and resolve the problem with no luck i gave up and went to three other garages for a second opinion and they were just as shocked at the poor work as me. When i went back to “Crash repair centre Bridgend” for the final time I could not believe the way the woman there spoke to me telling me that she don’t know what i thought i was driving and that she never wants me back there again… Never the less i would not go back there even if it was the last place on earth, Along with Mike the owner telling me that the car looked fine and that i didn’t know what i was taking about! In the end it cost me £400 to fix the mess they had made “Looking much better now”, that was after giving “Crash repair centre Bridgend” £450 to do the job. After handing the money over their attitude and customer services goes very poor and they don’t give a dam about you or your car so please for your own sake go somewhere where its not all about the money to them! Just trying to stop them doing it to anyone else! Oh and just to add they had the audacity to tell me in the end they would give me £100 as a gesture of good will and when i didn’t go down to pick it up phoned and said they would send the cheque in the post… laughable really! never seen the cheque either, not that i wanted it after what they did and the money i gave them!
