We are Invicta Preservation and the review I have just read is entirely untrue .... we haveNEVER had a complaint of this nature in 30 years of trading. We absolutely always honour our guarantee and have never had a comeback,and we have never ever had any legal proceedings against us so we welcome this appalling reviewer to contact us so we can set the record straight. We welcome your legal correspondence as it has been well over a year and there never has been any. I believe this is a vengeful review for some personal reason as it is unheard of. The director would certainly NEVER dismiss a complaint, be unprofessional or slam the phone down on anyone. We welcome your telephone call.

We spent a lot of money getting damp proof from this company twice, first in 2001 and then in 2008. They did a useless job both times. The dampness first recurred in 2008 when they blamed this on condensation. In 2008 they did a second treatment in areas they had left but also gave a huge bill to do other stuff they said would solve condensation issue. Unfortunately, the dampness kept recurring in patches over the years. We then got them to come and inspect again and they denied that there was any problem with rising damp. Rcently we got a few experts to survey the property (including one independent surveyor) who all identified that the rising damp was one of the main problems which had never been treated properly. The rising damp has since kept recurring in the walls treated by Invicta Preservation ltd. Although they gave a guarantee of 20 years for the jobs (a commitment which they proudly advertise on the internet to fool customers!!), they have failed to honour their guarantee. On contacting Invicta several times, they refused to visit the site. We have been waiting for the last 3 months without reply. Their staff is so rude to the extent that their director slammed the phone down on us when we called last time requesting them to give us a date for their visit. He was totally unprofessional and abusive and said he was too busy with other work to visit! This is a deceitful company who will cheat you, get your money, not do a proper job and fail to honour any guarantee they give to you. We are now in the process of seeking legal advise and press charges against them......
