Terrible service, avoid at all cost. Hired 6 garden plastic tables which arrived flat pack. Only 3 of the tables could go up as the other 3 had legs stuck inside the other legs. 2 ex rugby players could not get them out!!!! I called Alexander hire as the event was the next day plenty of time for a replacement. However I spoke to someone who told me 'I shouldn't use the emergency phone as this wasn't a emergency.' The office was closed. She told me to 'try some rubber gloves, two people, bit of elbow grease and to call her on Monday'. I kept calm and polite desperately trying to seek a resolution. The lady only got ruder clearly unhappy I was interrupting her weekend. She told me 'I had better get over there hadn't I' when I explained it was men trying to get the legs out. She also said 'I'm not sure what you want me to do' and called it 'a silly plastic leg not rocket science' and was very dismissive. So I'm down 3 tables which ruined the event - poor service 15-06-14
