We had a staircase fitted and within 2 weeks 4 of the stairs had broken and the others began to bow.
We called Jim, the owner of MC Joinery to ask him to come and fix it again which he said he had already done as our builders had let him in - little did we know he had not been in the house and the builders told us they had not let anyone in to repair the stairs. Lies!!
We then called Jim back to ask if he would come and fix our staircase properly and safely and he hung up on me and my other half.
It was only because my other half drove to the workshop and asked for the company registration number to make a complaint that Jim then got into his van and came and 'fixed' it.
Only time will tell, but we are taking the matter further none-the-less as we need structural engineers to come out and check the staircase as no safety designs had been followed after asking for them.
STAY AWAY!! Don't know how this business is a business! 02-08-17
