I usually went to Hayward's but thought just for a change I would try ASDA opticians. The initial process was quick and quite good then I had the longer eye test. Trying the frames was a bit of a trial as many of the ones I liked couldn't be made in my prescription so I'd be choosing a frame only to be told that it wasn't suitable rather than be shown a range that was suitable and then choosing from those. Having eventually chosen my frames I waited for them to be completed but when I went to pick them up one of the frames was a completely different colour to the one that I'd chosen! Fortunately the right brand name just the wrong colour. I'll be going back to my old opticians next time........NEVER AGAIN ASDA!
