Darren is a master craftsman. He has done the most amazing job on an antique secretaire that was in meed of a new life and a set of 1960’s Ercol dining chairs. The secretaire looks absolutely glorious, it’s beautifully renovated with stunning marquetry. The chairs look new, the grain is lovely and they’re now sturdy having been taken apart and reglued as well.

The care and passion Darren puts into his work is excellent. I would recommend him if you need french polishing and restoration work. Thank you Darren!

We have a large "Heal's" oak sideboard of 1930's vintage and the finish was showing its age with markings and scuffs. While it needed some renovating work we were concerned that it should not be "over-refurbished". After discussing the job with Mr Hart we were happy to place the refurbishment in his hands.and are very pleased to say that our trust has not been misplaced. Darren Hart was a pleasure to deal with, and he has returned the sideboard in a lovely condition so that it has been restored pretty much to its former glory. We are very pleased with his work which was completed to time and budget, and have no hesitation in recommending him for any work of a similar nature. He is a craftsman who knows what he is doing and does it extremely well.
