This place is completely money orientated. Wanted to know child's age, so even at this point it was all about "we'll charge more for old kids" mentalitay. Then they wanted to charge 60p on a £5.50 entrance fee for use of a credit card - that's 11% when the card companies charge minimal fees with the maximum being 1%, so 10% on your entrance for using plastic - ridiculous. I felt I was boarding a RyanAir plane....
Then there was the slush puppy, £1.50 for a small thing, over priced as we had the same days earlier elsewhere and paid £1 for one almost twice the size. We was going to get food but it didn't look too appetising the mush I saw being served, let alone the over inflated prices again.
The place itself, it's ok, not as good as the Hub @ Riverside and much smaller. Tables were dirty and staff clueless and didn't seem to really care "I'm new" was one of the comments I had - that shouldn't make a difference to customer service & happiness.
I remember attending a party and felt then the food was basic and poor quality.
Go if you're stuck but worth going to Riverside or Daventry everyday over this money machine. 03-09-14
