In basic terms the care home is generally understaffed, expecting those on duty to do the overload due to staffing problems for something like £7.45 an hour! In general, the rates for carers are a disgrace!

In my opinion, the company suffers from mushroom management relying on those appointed as area managers for example, to give homes the thumbs up, all clear when in fact that's not the case!

The care inspectorate do little to help, announcing when they will be coming to inspect! The practice should be put a stop to, so that the reality of their miss givings is plain to see! That Meallmore be held accountable for their actions!

Management work Monday to Friday!
No management in over the weekend....
A practice that should cease immediately...

The staff are more than capable 'of holding it together' and are to be admired for their dedication to duty! But this doesn't let Meallmore off the hook in their bare faced cavalier attitude towards their staff and residents! 01-06-16
