KNOW YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS
Bought a 2009 c4 grand picasso from Penton Salisbury advertised on ebay auction 25th january 2016. car was dangerous from the start, engine would cut out intermittently. When i called them their salesman told me there is no returns on auction cars and told me i could email their enquiries department but they will only tell me the same. I emailed them explaining my consumer rights in detail, no reply. With the advice of Trades & Standards i sent them a recorded letter as well, no reply. I finally sent them a letter giving them 7 days or court action would be taken, still no reply.
Since the T&S have been in touch with them their ads have now been changed so they have to except returns for any reason up to 14 days, this is your rights as it is an online auction and not a physical auction where you attend in person.
Alas after leaving them negative feedback has prompted them in to sending me a backdated letter inviting me to bring the car back for a refund, which i now have. RESULT after 2 months.
The next day after returning the car (22/03/16) i was shocked to see the car back on ebay auction with none of the faults mentioned in the ad so someone will buy it not knowing, hopefully they wont have an accident.
In their ad they state the car has bluetooth and reversing sensors to attract more bidders and more revenue but none of these work, they were told this by the last owner so they cant plead ignorant. T & S have again been notified.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. We bought a car from here nearly 4 weeks ago & despite assurances that it was in full working order, it has broken down with our children in it twice. In accordance with our consumer rights, we asked for our money back a week ago & they are still holding on to it. We are a normal hardworking family who have been treated appallingly by the staff, with unreturned calls and emails the norm. They have caused us untold stress and nobody seems to care at all. Avoid at all costs.
