We reserved a little bunny and the staff told us we could pick I him up in a weeks time, a few days after we got a call saying we could pick the bunny up now so we went to the shop to pick the bunny up and we took him straight home, when we was holding him we noticed that he had quite a big belly and didn't really move much but because we hadn't had a rabbit before we didn't think anything of it. We put him in his hutch and left him over night to settle in, but when we went straight to him in the morning he was lay at the bottom of the ladder in his hutch with no movement at all and wasn't breathing much, we rushed straight to the vets with hims and they said he had been fed the wrong things for quite a few weeks and that had caused a bloated tummy, he also had a bleed to the brain because of this! The vets said it's was the pet shop who should not of sold him to us and should of noticed this problem. The vets couldn't save our baby bunny who we had only had just over a day :( the vet bill came to about £60, so straight after the vets we went to Warrington Pets and exotics, we knew nothing would bring him back but we wanted a refund for the rabbit and we wanted them to give us the money back for the vet bill. They said they wouldn't give us neither because we could of fed our bunny the wrong food to make him ill which was a load of rubbish because the vet said he had been like this for at least a week, in the end after lots of arguing they agreed go give us a refund on the rabbit but not the vet bill. It was a bit suspicious that they said a week to pick him up then called us up a few days later to pick him up and they day after he died! I would NOT recommend Warrington pets and exotics to anyone they spoke so rude to us and never even apologised I will defiantly NEVER be going there again!!!!!!
