As you wonder up Southend High Street you are confronted with beautiful smells that get your taste buds tingling,follow your nose and it will lead you staight to the Cornish Bakehouse where you will find cornish pastys,pies,steakbakes sausage rolls and more.You will also have a choice of rolls,sandwiches,panninis and cakes.Donuts oozing strawberry jam,and chocolate too.All this can be washed down with tea or coffee of your choice ,and all for very little money.
On my first visit I met the young Manageress, Tina,who is so friendly professional and patient, She needed a lot patience as I perused the vast menu of different pastries on offer. They also have a vast selection of authentic cornish pasties.
I visit the Cornish Bakehouse regularly now and Tina is still the polite ,friendly and professional young lady that I met when I first went in there.Nothing is too much trouble for her and her staff.
All I can say is ,thankyou Tina for your professionalism and pleasant and friendly manner. 24-08-15
