Recently contacted 247 to get a boiler cover. Firstly, I was surprised that they cover boilers as old as mine. Then when I needed a service they got someone out the very next day. The engineer was so polite, he spent a good 45 minutes going through above and beyond what I normally expected and even cleaned up after himself!!

Stay Away - They take your money and then don't carry out work in a timely manner at all.
1st - CP12 gone done on the 18th Dec - still waiting for it. Promised by the Manager he will chase it every day and call me. Did he? What do you think, all talk and still waiting.
2nd - No Hot Water, mother and son aged 5 in the property, faulted on 4th Jan. Engineer finally comes on the 22nd Jan and then he leaves the property with no water at all because 24/7 said they would not authorise the job and he took the parts out but was told not to return. So from having water to no water. And to top it all off nobody called me until my tenant text me at 1900 asking if the engineers was returning. I had to call the next morning at 10:00 after re-housing my tenant and child to be told sorry we will only pay £220. Why did I have to chase them?
It’s a Mickey Mouse company, all talk. Customer service is rubbish, stay away. They promises to call you back but don't. I'm still waiting for the manager to call me back since Monday.

I might have been lucky but I got the repair within 24 hours that they put on their marketing materials, and the customer helpline seemed like they wanted to help me out and were happy to go beyond the call of duty.

Great service from 24/7 home rescue - responded to my claim within the day as advertised with no problems about additional fees or charges etc. I use these for boiler breakdown cover but am thinking of taking on more policies with them thanks to this service
