Arrived in Sidmouth and after a wonderful day looking in the brilliant shops decided to look for a place to stay. Had seen Canterbury whilst checking out the toll house snd luckily they had a room for us. Room was great (they don't advertise as boutique but this room certainly was). Lovely, friendly couple and breakfast was scrumptious. Fruit compote, nat yogurt followed by scrambled egg on a muffin. My other half had the full Canterbury. Decided to stay a further night and head to Sidmouth high street. Beautiful dresses in popoy & blue at surprising prices, I bought three! Would highly recommend Canterbury 05-04-14
